Woodbrooke Quaker Study centre

Woodbrooke is the Quaker Study Centre in the UK. It was the family home of the local chocolate maker, George Cadbury, himself a Quaker, and has, since 1903, provided education for those of any faith or none from around the world. Today Woodbrooke also welcomes many visitors wishing to use the facilities for their meetings and conferences.

Quaker Homeless Action (QHA)
Charity which runs a number of projects throughout the year connected with homelessness including "Quaker Open Christmas" at Union Chapel, London which provides Food, Shelter, Friendship and specialist services to homeless and lonely people in the Islington area. It is staffed between 23rd and 30th December by volunteers (Quaker and others).  


Horsham Churches Together 
This organisation brings together 29 local churches with the aim of working for good in the community employing a part time development worker to liase with HDC, WSCC and other statutory bodies
PROJECTS: Good Friday service, Harvest Celebrations, Carols in the Carfax. Also runs Horsham Matters.

Horsham Matters
A fantastic social enterprise charity run by HCT recycling, reusing and reselling good quality second hand goods. The  proceeds from their shop sales (Tanbridge Garage, Guildford rd & the warehouse at Blatchford rd) go to help a number of projects across town, supporting particularly those on low incomes.

Horsham Interfaith Forum

Horsham Interfath Forum was founded in 2004 and now has seventy five members. Our aim is to build a community of trust and to promote understanding and cooperation between people of different faiths. Membership is open to all who support our aims whether from a faith group  or not. We currently cover about 15 different beliefs.  Meeting, Talks and Spiritual reflection events are free and held regularly. Horsham Interfaith is part of the National Interfaith Network which is substantially funded by the Government.

Horsham Unitarian Church
Horsham Unitarians are not only our geographical neighbours, they are also friends with whom we share many practical and spiritual bonds. Below is a short piece taken from their website: -

Holistic Health
Mind, Body and Spirit group, which meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at FMH from 7.30

Transition Horsham
Local branch of the international Transition network. Meets at The Meeting House on 4th Thursd
ay of Month at 8pm. Events include Films, Seedswap, Swapshop, Bike maintenance workshops, local food & growing initiatives, Community Allotment, Community Energy, Local transport and sustainable living.
