We are always happy to welcome community and business groups wishing to hire the meeting house spaces. Two competitively priced rooms are available to hire (main hall and small meeting room). Both are friendly, peaceful spaces suitable for a range of activities and available throughout the week; - daytime and evening as well as certain weekend times.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Spaces and costs
Main Hall - 7m x 6m light pine wood floor with moveable seating (maximum 50 people) - £16 per hour 
Rigge Room (small meeting room)- 3.9m x 4.5m square carpeted room (max 16 people) -
£8.50 per hour 
Day rate - For use of whole building both rooms for 4 hours  or more  - £85

Kitchen 
Use of the kitchen is included with all bookings for making drinks and snacks. Cups, crockery and cutlery are provided as well as milk. You need to provide your own tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits etc. No preparation of hot food is allowed and no cooking facilities are available.    

Insurance/Performing rights
All hirers of the building are responsible for their own Public Liability Insurance to adequately cover their activity. Live or recorded music played at public events must have performing rights certification.

There are three documents related to hire of the Meeting House. Please first contact the warden (details as above).
All new bookings must to be approved by Horsham Meeting Premises Committee and are at their discretion. If accepted a named responsible person will then be required to complete a "Booking form" and read the "Conditions of use". Access to the building is generally via our keypad system by the side door for regular users.

ROOM SPECIFICATIONS


Main Hall

Description: A light, bright & airy space with large windows and smooth pine floor suitable for meetings, presentations, exhibitions, dance, yoga etc,    
Dimensions: Main floor - 7m x 6.6m (23 x 22.5 foot). Raised dark wood surround (8cm high) on all sides with wall benches.  
Seating; Open plan flexible space with mixture of fixed wall benches, free standing moveable benches, and good quality wood framed padded chairs. Seats up to 50.      
Heating: Instant heat wall heaters
Ceiling: High
Lighting: strip lights. Power sockets: 2 doubles & 2 singles.
Other furniture: 3 "gopak" long folding tables  
Cost per hour £15 (A day rate of 4 hours or more

for use of the whole building is £80)


                                                  Rigge Room (small meeting room)
Description: Small square carpeted room with window overlooking the back garden
Dimensions: 390 x 450 cm (13 x 14.5 foot)

Seating: Padded stacking banquet style chairs.
NB. Seats up to 16 maximum due to fire regulations.

Heating: Central heating (radiators) and portable electric
heater

Ceiling: standard height
Power sockets:
